I have always used t track for all my table clamping but when I decided to build a new out feed/assembly table I decided to use the Kreg Klamp trak and I could not be happier. When used with the Kreg clamps it makes clamping a large project piece's a breeze, although there is nothing wrong with using the t track for clamping I now prefer the. The clamps lock down very securely, with the handle on the rear of them adjusting the tension or clamping height. The screw on the bottom of the clamps fits the T-slot on my guide quite well, and the clamps come with a plastic shim that sticks to the bottom of them (almost like a washer for the screw) to act as a bearing so that they slide.
